Is this for me? I always feel that some people are good at explaining things, and some just can't explain something clearly for the life of them. If you fall into the latter category and that has caused you to hesitate about whether or not to homeschool, then homeschooling with the help of DVDs and videos might just be the solution for you. There are some wonderful homeschool courses out on DVDs and videos. Just one word of advice - you don't want your kids plunked in front of a TV for the entire day (even if it is educational). Make sure your kids get breaks. Get them outside and active in between learning sessions. Get them reading real books and read to them! Try to include hand-on activities in your day. |
